Directed by Pedro Almodóvar.
I watched "All about my mother" long time ago, I guess when the film was launched, more than 10 years ago (time flies). If someone would have asked me about the argument of the film, I wouldn't have had an answer... I did not remember what the film was about but I did remember what it made me feel. At that moment I certainly liked it and two weeks ago when I watched it again with Paco, we enjoyed it. There are things which are always good, I think this must be one of those.
"All about my mother" got an Oscar for "Best foreign language film". Pedro Almodovar said about the film that "is all about art, women, people, life and death, and must be one of the most intense films I've ever made". Clearly, he had not made "The Skin I live in" when he made this comment.
I actually think that this film is all about feelings, emotions and maybe, how they drive us to some places or others.
I would absolutely recommend it, if you have not watched it yet. 101 minuts of an unusual love story.
